So, you do not have any age restrictions regarding children?
Not at all. We love to care for the youngest patients, and it is generally advised that the first dental appointment be scheduled no later than age one. At least some teeth should be present in the mouth by the time of your child’s first birthday. Dr. Suri can assess how well those teeth are developing and the growth of other structures of the mouth. Moreover, these early visits are a great way to establish healthy habits from the get-go. Your child will perceive the dental team and dental visits as second nature and not something to be feared.

Do I still need to visit you if my brushing and flossing at home are good?
Yes! Good home care must be combined with good professional care. During routine visits (usually scheduled once every six months), Dr. Suri will check for problems that might otherwise go ignored. In their early stages, oral issues often produce little to no symptoms. Only your dentist will know if something is wrong that requires treatment to avoid potentially irreversible damage. Plus, our dental hygienists will also clean your teeth with special tools and techniques during your visit. They can remove substances (like hardened plaque) that your toothbrush or floss cannot.
